Vintage Sauerkraut Creole Style (1943)

Instructions

Drain sauerkraut thoroughly. Cook vegetables in fat until golden. Add to sauerkraut, tossing to mix well. Add remaning ingredients and simmer on top of stove or in moderately hot oven (375F)for about 1 hour or until mixture has cooked down.
