In a bowl mix together all the marinade ingredients. Add the meat, mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate for between 30 minutes to 4 hours. The longer the meat is left to marinate, the more intense the flavour will be.
Remove the meat cubes. Thread onto skewers. Cook under a preheated grill or on a barbecue for approximately 15 minutes, turning occasionally.
Serve these with **naan bread and a salad. This works just as well with lamb or pork steaks
