Supper a'La King

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup margarine
  • ½ cup diced green pepper
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (10 ¾ oz.) cream of chicken soup
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 cup cooked cubed ham, chicken, or turkey
  • 1 can (2 - 4 oz.) mushroom stems & pieces, drained
  • 1 cup frozen peas, cooked & drained
  • ¾ cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup diced pimento (optional)

Instructions

Cook margarine, green pepper & onion over medium heat until tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in soup & milk; blend well. Stir in meat, cheese, mushrooms, peas & pimento. Cook 5 minutes or until heated through. Serve over your choice of hot waffles, biscuits, rice, or baked potatoes.
