Smoked Sausage Creole

Instructions
Cut sausage into 1/2 inch slices. In a heavy saucepan melt butter and saute onions and peppers over low heat until tender. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, mushrooms, seasonings, and sausage. Simmer over low heat for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over hot cooked rice.
