Simple Sausage and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 5 large russet potatoes

Instructions

1. Peel and slice potatoes into rounds about 1/4-inch thick.

2. In a large skillet, fry the sausage slices in the vegetable oil until browned. Remove from skillet with slotted spoon, keeping the grease in the skillet.

3. Place the potato slices in the skillet and fry to golden brown. Slice the onions into thick rings and place on top of the potatoes. Place the sausage on top of the onion rings. Season with salt and pepper.

4. Pour about 1/4 cup of water into the skillet. Cover skillet and cook on medium to medium-low for about 30 minutes until potatoes and onions are cooked through.

Serves at least 8
