Round Steak Supreme
Ingredients
- salt and pepper to taste
- flour
- 1 1/2 pounds round steak
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 T. butter
- 1 1/2 cups chopped carrots, cooked
- 1 can tomatoes
- gravy
Instructions
Season steak and dust with flour; brown quickly in fat. Cut meat into serving pieces. Saute onions in butter until clear. Place steak, carrots, tomatoes, and onions in layers in a baking dish. Pour gravy over casserole; bake at 350(F) for 1 hour. Yields 4 servings
