Roasted Cherry Tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh or 2 Tbsp. dried basil
  • Garnish: fresh basil sprigs

Instructions

Toss together all ingredients. Place in a 15x10-inch jellyroll pan.

Broil 5 inches from heat (with electric oven door partially open) 6 minutes. Garnish, if desired.
