Mom's Cool Whip Cake

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. jar butterscotch ice cream topping
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 container of Cool Whip
  • 1 Chocolate cake mix
  • 1-2 Heath Bars or toffee equivalent

Instructions

Bake cake as directed (don't forget that mixes often call for oil :D). While still warm, poke holes all over it with a wooden spoon handle. Drizzle the condensed milk into the holes, follwed by the butterscotch topping (use 3/4 of the jar). Spread softened Cool Whip over the top of the cake and sprinkle with crushed Heath bars.
