Mexican Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 lb.ground beef
  • 2 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic,minced
  • 1 can diced rotel tomatoes,drained
  • 1 med.onion ,chopped
  • double crust pastry
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 can pinto beans ,drained
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. sliced green onions
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

Brown ground beef with garlic and onions,drain.
Add beans,soup,tomatoes,salt and pepper.
Line pie plate with one crust,add half the filling,spread cheese over filling.
Pour remaining filling over cheese,
cover with top crust,make slits in top crust.
Flute the edge.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
Garnish each slice with sour cream,olives and onions.
