Matthew's PB&J French Toast:)
Ingredients
Instructions
Spread jelly evenly over 3 slices of bread. Spread peanut butter evenly over the other 3 slices. Press the slices together (like you would any pb&j). Cut each in half (I do it diagonally).
Combine eggs and milk in a bowl. Dip each sanwich in egg mix to coat.
Cook sandwiches in butter or margarine in a large nonstick skillet or pan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes on each side (or until they are nice and golden). Keep them warm.
Mix banana slices, honey, orange juice and peanuts in a small bowl. Arrange sandwiches on a plate and top with banana mixture. Serve warm with yogurt if you like:)
My Matthew is a huge pb&j fan and of French toast.. not to mention anything with honey, so this is for him:)
