This is a recipe I got from Kiefer Sutherland when he cooked me dinner recently. After that we... Oh wait... This is reality.
:):)
Actually this is a Kiefer Sutherland recipe I found in an article on celebrities who can cook.
1. In a large frying pan, heat the butter and oil over medium-high heat.
2. Cook steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
3. Remove from pan and set aside.
4. Add chopped onion and garlic to pan, reduce heat to medium and stir-fry for 1 minute.
5. Add sliced mushrooms and sautee until they are golden brown.
6. Sprinkle the mix with flour, stirring to ensure everything is coated.
7. Add beefstock, wine and redcurrant jelly.
8. Bring to a boil, stirring until gravy thickens.
9. Return steaks to the mixture and simmer for two minutes or until heated through, turning once.
Serves four.
Thanks Melia!:)
