Jeanne's Savory Bread

Ingredients

  • 200gr chopped bacon
  • 1 packet thick white onion soup powder
  • 500g self raising flour
  • 2 cups of buttermilk (or milk with a 10ml of vinegar)
  • a cup of grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

Mix and baked at 180(C) or 355(F) degrees for 1h 20min. Very good. You can also change the ingredients to either make a cheese and onion loaf, or sundried tomatoes and olive, garlic and herbs etc.
