Hot ham and cheese sandwiches
Ingredients
Instructions
Combine butter, mustard, horseradish and poppy seeds and mix well to spreading consistency.
Slice croissants in half and spread each side with butter mixture. Place a generous amount of ham on the bottom half. Top with a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover sandwich with the other half of the croissant.
Wrap sandwiches in aluminum foil and place in freezer until about 1 hour before serving.
To serve, remove from freezer and let thaw completely. Remove from foil. Place on baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
Hamburger buns can be substituted for croissants if desired. These are also delicious with turkey and Swiss cheese.
