Glazed Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup grape jelly
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- Small crusty rolls
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, eggs, salt, Worcestershire sauce and pepper. Mix well and shape into 1-inch meatballs.
2. In a large frying pan, cook meatballs in oil over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until browned. Remove and drain on paper towels.
3. In a medium saucepan, combine grape jelly and chili sauce; stir well. Add meatballs and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve alone or on warm crusty rolls.
