Frozen Biscuits

Instructions
Sift dry ingredients together; cut in shortening. Dissolve yeast in warm water; add to buttermilk. Add buttermilk-yeast mixture to dry mixture; mix well.
Turn onto floured surface; fold over (working in small amount of flour) several times. Pat or roll out to desired thickness; cut and place on greased cookie sheet and place in freezer.
Once biscuits are frozen, If desired, you can roll each in melted butter. Place the frozen biscuits in freezer bags or freezer containers and return to freezer.
Defrost 30 minutes before baking. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until brown.
Makes about 36 medium-size biscuits.
