Fried Onion Rings
Ingredients
- Large Vidalia onion (sliced into rings)
- flour (about 2ish cups)
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
Slice your onion into desired size rings. Place in ICE water for 20 minutes.
Beat your eggs, milk and seasoning together.
Take your onions directly from your ice water and roll in flour.
Dip in milk/egg mixture then back into the flour.
Place in your hot oil. Fry til nice and brown.
Drain on paper towel.
You might want to add a bit of salt after you take them out.
I've used this recipe for a very long time. It's nothing fancy but it's really good. I use Tony Chachere's for my seasoning. You can use something like Season-All as well.
