Fresh Peach Cobbler (over open fire)

Peel and slice peaches into 12 inch Dutch oven. Mix sugar, cinnamon and cardamon together and sprinkle over peaches. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over peaches and sugar mixture. Slice butter over cobbler and put almonds on last. Place dutch oven over 10-12 glowing charcoals and cover with lid . Place 22-25 charcoals around the outside of the lid, bake for 45 - 60 minutes or until bubbly and well browned. If you like you could do this in a 9" X 13" pan in the oven for the same amount of time at 350-375 degrees.
