Easy Onion Buns

Easy Onion Buns

Ingredients

  • 1 package dry onion soup mix, minus 2 tablespoons (I use Lipton
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 to 4 cups bread flour
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water

Instructions

In the bowl of a food processor mix first 7 ingredients 10 to 15 seconds. To the side, dissolve yeast in warm water. Once the yeast has proofed, slowly add the yeast and water mixture to the running food processor. The dough will form a ball clinging to the sides of the processor. Remove and place the dough ball in a greased bowl. Let rise in a warm place until doubled in size.

Once the dough is doubled in size, punch the dough down and make small balls about the size of a lemon. Place the dough balls on a greased cookie sheet with 3 inches between the balls. Let rise until double, spray with PAM and bake at 375 degrees until golden brown. This will take about 12-15 minutes.

Cool and freeze until ready to use.
