Cornmeal Griddle Cakes

Instructions

* Pour boiling water over cornmeal, stir until thick. Add molasses and milk.

* Beat in eggs. Add flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Stir in shortening.

* Bake on hot ungreased griddle.

Yield 10 cakes.
