Chocolate Balls
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 boxes (16 oz.) confectioners' sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract (you can also use other flavored extract such as lemon, almond or orange)
- 3 cups chopped walnuts
- 2 packages (12 oz.) semisweet chocolate morsels
- 4 oz. Paramount Crystals or shredded baking wax
Instructions
1. In a large bowl combine butter and milk until smooth.
2. Stir in sugar, salt, vanilla, then walnuts. Roll into one-inch-balls. Place candy on waxed paper.
3. Chill until firm.
4. In a medium pan, melt chocolate and Crystals for 4-5 min. over low heat. Dip balls into chocolate, coating evenly. Return to waxed paper. Store in refrigerator.
Yields: 6 dozen
