Brandied Cranberries
Ingredients
- 4 generous cups cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 T brandy
Instructions
Bake in 9Xl3 covered casserole 1/2 hr, remove cover and stir. Recover and bake an additional 1/2 hour, again stirring thoroughly. There should be enough to divide evenly among 3 HOT STERILE 1 cup size jars. Pour 2T brandy over each jar. You will hear the brandy sizzle as it sinks through the hot berries. Seal the jars. It will make gifts for 3 happy people. The berries keep on the shelf like jellies and jams until opened.
