Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped onions
  • 120z.spaghetti ,cooked and drained
  • 1 c. chopped green bell pepper
  • 2 c.shredded cheddar cheese,divided
  • 1 tbsp.butter or margarine
  • 1 can (10-3/4oz.)cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (28oz.)tomatoes,chopped and undrained
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 can(4oz.)mushrooms,drained
  • 1/4 c. grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 can (2-1/4 oz)sliced black olives ,drained
  • 2 tsp.dried oregano
  • 1lb.ground beef,cooked and drained

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
In large skillet,saute' onions and green pepper in butter until tender.Add tomatoes,mushrooms,olives and oregano.Add ground beef.Simmer,uncovered,for 10 minutes.
Arrange half of spaghetti in prepared pan.
Spoon half of ground beef on top.
Sprinkle on 1 cup cheddar cheese.Repeat layering.
Combine soup and water until smooth.Pour over casserole.Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Bake,uncovered,for 30-35 minutes,or until heated through.
Serves 12.
