Aunt Mae's Butterscotch Marble Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg white cake mix (2 layer size)
  • 1 pkg instant butterscotch pudding
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup

Instructions

In large bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, water and oil. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Add eggs 1 at a time, beating after each. Pour 2/3 of batter into greased bundt pan. Mix remaining 1/3 with chocolate syrup. Pour over butterscotch mixture. Bake at 350(F) for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

This recipe was one of my great aunt's from Scottsburg, Indiana (Mae Arbuckle).
