Aunt Kathy's Stroganoff
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck
- 1 onion, chopped
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, washed and sliced (stems removed)
- salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- carton of sour cream
- fresh cooked rice or egg noodles
Instructions
In a skillet, brown your ground chuck with your onions, mushrooms and season to taste.
Drain excess fat. Stir in can of soup (do not add water). Right before you serve it, add your sour cream and heat through (do not bring to a boil). Serve over hot white rice or freshly cooked egg noodles.
I love her stroganoff:)
Sometimes I will use sirloin sliced very thin instead of hamburger. So good!
